Nine students from Navrachana bag KVPY schol hermes arships
VADODARA: hermes City based Navrachana School, Sama has informed that nine students from the school have cleared the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Y hermes ojana (KVPY) scholarship examination this year.
KVPY scholarship examination is one of the most prestigious and the most difficult pure sciences pre university examinations annually conducted by the Department of Science and Technology of Government of India across the country.
The nine students who have cleared the examination successfully include Ankush Singh, Vaidehi Menon, Varunesh Goyal, Yash Shah, Krushan Yajnik, Vatsal Shah of standard XII and Pushpendu Ghosh, Yasti Agarwal and Jahnvi Patel of standard XI.
The KVPY scholarship examinations are designed to identify talented students with a deep and sustained interest in the pure and applied sciences and to ensure that the best scientific talent is groomed for research and development in the country.
KVPY offers generous scholarships to assist these students realize their potential to the maximum and the funding is enough to support them right upto pre PhD levels.
These students are also granted direct admission to prestigious science research institutes like the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and the All India Institute of Scientific Ed hermes ucation and Research, Pune, if they so desire.
The nine Navrachana School students are from amongst 1,200 students who cleared the examinations successfully from the over one lakh students who appeared for it.
